Itinerary & tour plan

Welcome to Porto, a city with over two thousand years of history and famous for its world-renowned Port wine. Explore its UNESCO-listed historic centre, rich in Roman and medieval landmarks, and enjoy a visit to a port cellar to taste the region's signature wine. Porto seamlessly blends tradition with modern creativity, offering vibrant streets, stunning architecture and lively riverside terraces.
Start your day with a scenic train ride from Porto to Pinhão, where you'll visit a local olive oil producer for a light picnic lunch and a hands-on olive oil experience. Afterward, take a leisurely walk through the “quintas,” the wine estates that dot the Douro Valley, and explore the peaceful charm of Sabrosa, with its historic manor houses dating back to the medieval era. End the day with an authentic visit to a small olive oil press, where you'll learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of freshly made oil.
Today, you’ll explore the charming village of Provesende in the heart of the Douro Valley, where history and beauty intertwine. With its cobblestone streets, stunning Baroque Church, and traditional manor houses, the village offers a glimpse into Portugal’s rich past. You’ll visit a local wine producer, experiencing the flavors of the region’s renowned wines. To end the day, a delicious dinner featuring typical Portuguese cuisine will provide the perfect taste of local culture. It’s a day full of history, wine, and authentic experiences that capture the spirit of the Douro Valley
Today's walk connects Provesende to Pinhão along a medieval road that will take you up the slopes to the riverbank, always accompanied by the admirable work of the man who built the terraces, stone by stone.

In Pinhão, one of Portugal's most picturesque towns, you'll find its famous railway station, richly decorated with tile panels that recreate life in the region.

From Pinhão, you will take a trip on a rabelo boat, the typical vessel that for centuries transported the region's port wine to Vila Nova de Gaia.

At the end of your tour, we will arrange your transfer to the airport to your flight schedule or to Porto city center.
